The American Samoa Department of Health Early Intervention Program “Helping Hands” would like to inform the public that it has received its Determination letter for the Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2018 Annual Performance Report from the U.S Department of Education (Department).
The Department has determined that American Samoa needs assistance in meeting the requirements of the Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). This determination is based on the totality of the Programs data and information, including the FFY 2018 State Performance Plan/Annual Performance Plan (SPP/APR), other state-reported data, and other publicly available information.
As part of its enforcement actions, the Determinants letter is made available for public review. Click here for a copy of the document .
